The pelvic floor naturally is meant to move as we breathe, in parallel with your diaphragm. This practice supports engaging with that gentle movement and find your natural breath. To have a strong healthy muscle (in this case the pelvic floor), it needs to also be flexible and soft at rest, so that it can move through it's full range of movement.
This breath practice can also support feelings of relaxed aliveness, and take you out of stress and into the body.
